It has been a long time but let me begin to fill you in on my absence:
I am now a PROUD sister of Corazones Unidos Siempre Chi Upsilon Sigma National Latin Sorority Inc. Eta Chapter Nu Line.
It took a couple of months of hard work but it paid off because it was one of the most challenging and rewarding things I have ever chosen to do.
After that school and finals dominated my life which was all made better when I found out my GPA is a 3.67. So life is banging. School, work, family and pledging and still got a 3.67. That's foCUS. weeepa!
so it's Christmas time so it is necessary to devote some of this blog to this commercialized beautiful holiday. I for one HATE Christmas. I love Noche Buena which is Christmas Eve and the bigger tradition in Latino homes. I hate expecting presents which I never get and looking at everyone's decorations cause I have none. It's like I think I hate it cause I'm jealous of it. Like all the decorations, a tree, mistletoe, presents, dinner, Santa, eggnog all that shit. I want it, but can't have it so it blows. And then people will say Christmas isn't about all that stuff... fuck yes it is. If it wasn't it'd be like every other day when your supposed to love and embrace your family. So Christmas is about all the extra stuff people spend money on. And if I hear one more person say that it's Jesus's birthday I will proceed to punch them in the face. Cause it's not.
I'll write some more later.
